My love, were you the devil,

Or the angel sent to save me?

Your dark eyes piercing through my soul

Did you ever love me, or was I yours to control?

What was I, in the darkest halls of our home?

What was I, in the darkest halls of your soul?

Was I more then, than I am now

Now that I’m bathing in sin the colour of your blood

Torn between fear and devotion

My love, was I the devil?
