I chose the book "The boy at the back of the class" because the title reminded me a lot of myself. In the last school year, I changed schools twice and each time I sat at the back. But I never thought that this book would have such a twist and that it wasn't about a change of school but an escape.

Ahmed, the boy who joined Alexa and her three best friends' class, is a refugee from Syria who lost his family trying to escape. At first the 4 friends didn't know about his story, but when they found out they tried to help.

I really liked the book, it is very touching and interesting. You think it's just a story that someone made up, but these are experiences that other people have already experienced and I could not imagine living through this situation. In my opinion, people and also animals that have already experienced those kinds of things are the bravest and strongest in the world.

I recommend this book to everyone who would like to deal intensively with the topic of refugees. This book touches your heart very much.

I would be very happy if you leave a comment or like.
