This is the first fantasy book since Harry Potter (marauders fan forever) that I found amazing. It is about a group of people with different powers that get chosen to become a part of the Alexandrian Society, but there is a catch.

I am not a person for fantasy, I will always be a hopeless romantic. But how this book was written is magnificent, it is more about the scientific side of magic, which is interesting.

The plot twist at the end really surprised me, of course I thought something would happen, but despite all the possibilities I imagined, I still did not see this one coming. The entire book was easy to read, kept me on my toes and almost every chapter had a cliff hanger, so I couldn’t put it down.

The author self-published it, which I think is impressive. If a publishing company thought my book wasn’t good, I don’t think I would be brave enough to publish it myself. I adore the author and I am going to read every book she wrote.

My imagination isn’t the best, so it was amazing, that after every chapter you had a drawing of one of the characters, which are beautiful. I think every character is special in its own way, but not all have grown on me.

If you didn’t know, I love the dark academia aesthetic and this book just screamed it. So, if you are a sucker for that like me, this is your book. The whole book is based in a mansion in London, so the setting already has the vibe.

I loved the book, it quickly became one of my favourites. The ending had a cliff hanger, so I am already excited for The Atlas Paradox, which will be released this October. Thank you for reading and please leave a like and comment :).
