A magical time out of reality

It is about a family that looks perfect, but many ugly secrets lie underneath. One of them involves one girl, one summer and many forgotten memories….

It is an amazing book with an enormous plot twist, that I would have never expected. It is a summer-read, so I think I would have enjoyed reading it more on the beach or in the car on my way to an Island.

First I didn’t enjoy the book much, because the way it is written is kind of poetic. But once you get into it you can’t put it down and read till 4:00 a.m. The entire book was building up to this one moment, the truth. And then pow it just hit me, I couldn’t believe what I was reading. The WORST part was that I was in public and was on the verge of tears.

But aside from that it was an experience that I am grateful to have had. It isn‘t a comfort book like for example „The Hating Game“, it is a book to think, to discuss and of course to cry over. I would recommend it to people who are looking for something more interesting and gripping.

Well, another book that I am proud to have read and by the way the prequel „family of liars“ is going to be published soon so read this fantastic book as soon as you can. Then we can both wait in anticipation for the next book to come out.
